Careers at Way Education

Help students from India plan the move abroad

We're looking for advisers, counsellors, and support staff who would rather get a student to the right decision than to the quickest sale. If honest guidance is how you'd want to work, you'll fit in here.

Why work here

The advice actually matters.

Students and families make expensive decisions on the strength of what an adviser tells them. Good advice is the difference between a route that fits and one that costs a year and a lot of money. That's the work here, and it's worth doing well.

We're built to be honest about the hard parts, including rejection, cost, visa refusal, and the moves that aren't worth making. The job is planning, not selling.

Roles we hire for

A few kinds of work

Openings vary through the year. Most sit in one of a handful of groups, and the contact page is the way to ask what's open right now.

Advisers and counsellors guide students through destination choice, course comparison, and applications. Admissions support staff handle personal statements, references, documents, and deadlines. Visa and compliance colleagues keep study visa preparation accurate and current, since the rules change several times a year.

Beyond that sit welfare, mentorship, and guardianship coordinators who look after students once plans are underway, plus the operations, content, and marketing people who keep the guidance clear and the service running. You can see the shape of that work across our study abroad services and study abroad destinations.

How hiring works

Calm, and in the right order

The process mirrors how we advise students. No pressure, no games, and clear feedback either way.

  • 1

    Get in touch

Send a CV and a short note through the contact page, telling us the kind of role you want and where you're based.

  • 2

    An intro conversation

We talk through your background, what you're looking for, and where you might fit. It's a two-way conversation, not an interrogation.

  • 3

    A practical stage

You walk us through how you'd advise a student in a realistic situation. This is the part that tells us most about how you think.

  • 4

    A decision

We come back to you with an answer and honest feedback, whichever way it goes.

Who does well here

The people who thrive are specific, patient, and honest. They understand the context students plan within, from CBSE, ICSE, and state board to IB and Cambridge backgrounds, alongside family budgeting, education loans, and the real worry of moving far from home. They don't treat every student as the same.

They're comfortable saying a plan is unrealistic, a country is expensive, or a route isn't worth it. And they keep up with entry requirements, costs, and immigration rules rather than working from memory.

  • Student-led, family-aware advising that keeps parents informed on budget, safety, and timing without taking the decision away from the student.
  • India-specific understanding of qualification pathways, funding, and the anxieties that shape a study abroad decision.
  • Honesty as the default, including about rejection, homesickness, and visa refusal.
  • A habit of checking rules and costs against current sources instead of memory.
  • Ongoing guidance that follows a student from first question through to arrival.
What we ask

Tell students the truth.

Honesty about the hard parts is our main difference from agencies that oversell. We'd rather lose a fee than send a student towards a route that won't work for them. If that's how you already want to work, the rest of the job is learnable.

How to apply

Send us a note and a CV

There's no separate careers inbox yet, so applications come through the contact page. Tell us the kind of role you're interested in, where you're based, and a little about your background.
